Terms of Service
Service Area and Availability
Touch of Class Cleaning and Restoration provides water, fire, mold, and biohazard restoration services within the areas we actively serve from our Richardson, TX location. Quoted response times, scheduling windows, and service availability are subject to crew availability, weather, and road conditions, and do not constitute a guarantee of arrival at a specific time unless confirmed in writing for your job.
Estimates Are Not Binding Contracts
Any estimate, walkthrough assessment, or verbal quote provided by our team is an approximation based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. It is not a binding agreement for services. Actual scope and cost may change once demolition, moisture mapping, or further inspection reveals conditions not visible during the initial estimate. The service relationship, and the rights and obligations of both parties, is governed by the signed work-authorization form executed before work begins, not by any prior verbal or written estimate.
Payment Terms
Payment terms, including deposit requirements, progress billing, and final balance due dates, are set out in the signed work-authorization form for each job. We accept standard payment methods discussed at the time of authorization. Balances not paid according to the agreed schedule may be subject to late fees or collection action as permitted under Texas law. Insurance claim proceeds do not relieve the property owner of responsibility for amounts not covered or disputed by the carrier.
Insurance Coordination
When a loss is covered by a homeowner’s or commercial insurance policy, we can document the damage, provide photographs, and communicate directly with your adjuster at your authorization. We do not control claim approval, coverage decisions, or the amount a carrier agrees to pay. Any direction to bill or correspond with your insurer must be authorized by you in writing, and you remain the responsible party on the account regardless of claim status.
Scope of Work
Work performed is limited to the scope described in the signed authorization and any approved change orders. Items such as cosmetic repairs, reconstruction beyond the agreed scope, or pre-existing conditions unrelated to the active loss are not included unless specifically added in writing. Drying, cleaning, and remediation work is performed in accordance with recognized industry standards for the loss type.
Liability
Our work is performed within the scope of applicable Texas regulations governing restoration and general contracting services. We are not liable for pre-existing structural issues, code violations unrelated to the current loss, or damage caused by conditions outside the agreed scope of work. Any liability arising from services performed is limited to the terms set out in the signed work-authorization agreement for that job.
Disputes
We aim to resolve any disagreement about scope, billing, or workmanship directly and promptly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled according to the resolution terms stated in the signed work-authorization form, under the laws of the State of Texas.
